Harvey Levin's Obituary
Harvey Levin, 91, of Venice, Florida, passed away on February 6, 2024. He was born on May 20, 1932, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Oscar and Sarah (nee Karasin) Levin.
He was the Director of Human Resources at American Greetings, where he retired after 37 years. We will remember him for his intellect, caring personality, and generosity. He always knew how to put a smile on your face. He was dearly loved and will be missed by everyone who knew him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his partner of 52 years, Richard Katala; siblings, Sidney Levin and Evelyn (Sol) Wallack; and his sister-in-law, Kathleen Miller.
He leaves behind a loving family to cherish his memory, including his nieces who he loved like daughters, Shelly Miller and Staci (Tim) Cassidy; brother-in-law, Adam (Carol Daukins) Katala; sister-in-law, Arlene Klinger; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 10:00AM at Sunset Memorial Park's Westwood Abbey Chapel, with Rabbi Matthew Eisenberg officiating. He will be laid to rest with Richard in the Westwood Abbey Mausoleum (6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070).
