Helen C. Bruton's Obituary
Helen C. Bruton (nee Berfanger), 81, of Strongsville, passed away January 9, 2018.
She was born in Milan, MI, the daughter of the late Anthony and Rose Varga Berfanger. Helen was the beloved wife of William; loving mother of William (Rosemary), Debra Bruton-Haas and Jean (John) Lieb; cherished grandmother of Amanda Bruton, Jessica (Josh) Clark, Melissa (Mitch) Hagg, Katherine, William and Elizabeth Haas, Christopher (Anthea), Nathaniel (Shelby) and Hannah Lieb and great-grandmother of ten; dear sister of Rosemary (Richard) Lawhorn, Suzanne (Patrick) Cahill and the late Robert (Liz) and Leo Berfanger and Marguerite (Joseph) Whitaker; adored aunt of many.
She enjoyed playing bridge with her family and friends at Olympia and was once a member of the St. Richard’s Bowling League at Buckeye Lanes. Helen is a long-time parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Visitation Sunday, January 14, 2018 from 12PM-4PM in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 15, 2018 at 10AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 12700 Pearl Rd., Strongsville 44136. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
