Helen Louise Radway's Obituary
Helen Louise Radway (nee Scengie), age 69, of Brook Park, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 8, 2020.
She was born June 10, 1950, in Cleveland, daughter of the late Louis and Helen (nee Mikina) Scengie.
Devoted wife of the late Richard Radway; cherished mother of Brian (Molly Russell) Radway; beloved grandmother of Julia, Richard and Zuri; loving sister of Susan (Rob Boltz) Bercan, and the late Matthew Scengie; treasured aunt and friend of many.
Helen was always lighthearted with a great sense of humor. She had several pen pals that she would keep in touch with. Helen had a love for music and enjoyed a little bit of every genre. She was known as the Soul Sister of Brook Park to her close friends and family. Helen had an extensive collection of butterflies that were taking over her house. She loved her family and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will take place on Monday, February 17, 2020 from 6PM – 8PM in the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH 44070, where memorial service will commence at 8PM.
Memorial contributions in Helen’s name are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
