Herbert E Robeznieks' Obituary
Herbert E. Robeznieks, 91, of Aurora, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2023. He was born on August 20, 1931, in Latvia to the late Karlis and Berta Robeznieks (nee Pornieks). Herbert was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Valda Robeznieks (nee Skangelis) and his brother, Karl Robeznieks. Herbert will be deeply missed by his children, Sandra (Edward) Hazners and Diana (Lou) Verhas; loving grandfather of Jacob, Adam, Emily, Marcis, and Alex; dear brother of Silvija Lechowick; dear brother-in-law of Anna Sykaluk; dear uncle of Andrew Sykaluk; and a host of extended family and dear friends.
Visitation and funeral service will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023 at the United Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church of Cleveland, 15120 Detroit Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio 44107.
10-11 a.m. visitation and 11a.m. service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Herbert Robeznieks to the Latvian Summer High School of Latvian Center Garezers (G.V.V.), at 57732 Lone Tree Rd., Three Rivers, MI 49093.
