Howard C. Mizer's Obituary
Howard C. Mizer age 88, of Strongsville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 9, 1933 in Cleveland, OH, son of the late Howard C. and Sylvia (nee Lowry) Mizer. Howard was a graduate of West Tech High School and Bowling Green State University. He served with the United States Army and was overseas in Germany for two years with his comrades. Howard worked for many years as a Banker with Key Bank. Howard enjoyed Cleveland sports, especially the Browns. He loved to read and to travel. Howard spent a lot of time with his family and close friends. He cherished the moments with those he loved. Howard will be greatly missed. He was the devoted husband of 60 years to the late June Conrad; loving father of Eileen (Dave) Hammon, and Robert Mizer; adored grandfather of Rachel and David Hammon; loving friend of many. He was preceded in passing by his brother Terry Mizer. Funeral services will take place Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 10 A.M. at the Sunset Chapel 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 9 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment immediately following at Sunset Memorial Park.
