Hubert Dale Brady's Obituary
Hubert Dale Brady, age 94, of Avon Lake, passed away on May 1, 2026. Born on March 31, 1932, he was the beloved son of the late Bessie and Eugene L. Brady.
Hubert was married for 61 devoted years to his cherished wife, the late Eleanor May Brady. Together they built a life grounded in love, faith, and family. He was the loving father of Lottie S. (Dale) Krabill, Harry J. (Barbara) Brady, and Penny A. (Dale) Kuch. He was the treasured grandfather of Jeremy (Angela) Kuch, Jennifer (John) Gunther, Brittany (Demetrious) Reed, Hannah Krabill, Jonathan (Samantha) Krabill, David (Saralyn) Krabill, Josh Brady, Becky (Matt) Abner, Korah (Steven) Swartz, and Caleb Brady. Hubert was also blessed with great grandchildren who brightened his later years: Brooklyn Reed, London Reed, Nathan Storrow, Jr., Issak Storrow, Lincoln Storrow, Maizey Kuch, Kaiden Swartz, and Shealyn Swartz, Jack Krabill, Evelyn Krabill, and Addison Abner. Hubert is survived by his sister-in-law, Ruth Pitman, and a brother-in-law, Melvin Bruns. He was preceded in death by his two sisters, Betty Miller and Carol Bruns. He also leaves behind other family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
Hubert was instrumental in the founding of the North Olmsted Evangelical Friends Church, and surely knew Jesus and passed his faith on to his family as well.
Known for his steady presence, warm heart, and unwavering dedication to those he loved, Hubert leaves behind a family who will forever carry his memory with gratitude and affection. His life was a testament to quiet strength, enduring love, and the importance of family.
As his loved ones gather to honor his life, they celebrate not only the years he lived but the countless ways he shaped their own.
Hubert’s Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM at New Hope Church, 22960 Lorain Road, Fairview Park, OH 44126.
