Hunter Brown's Obituary
Hunter Douglas Brown of Cleveland, age 34, passed away at his home on September 28, in the company of his parents, following a long illness. Hunter will be greatly missed by his mother, Linda Gross Brown, his stepfather, Michael Jordan, his brother Trenton Wynter Brown (Meghan), uncle Keith Brown (Erin), aunt Sue Coufalik (Michael), aunt Nancy Finster, cousins Matt Coufalik (Anne), Jennifer Beauchesne (Shaun), Timothy Finster (Kerrie), Jeffrey Finster (Amy), Chris Brown (Karina Heidersberger), Ian Brown (Nicole), his best friend Ryan Wallace (Julie), and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Kevin Brown, his uncle Kenneth Brown, his aunt Noel Brown, his cousin Andrea Brown, and his grandparents Donald and Shirley Brown and Otto and Annette Gross.
A native of Rocky River, Hunter attended the University of Toledo and was an active investor and businessman. He enjoyed video gaming, fine cuisine, and travel. His favorite vacations were to Machu Picchu, Peru, and Angkor Wat, Cambodia. He will be remembered as a loving, loyal, and supportive man, whose smile and twinkling bright blue eyes would light up a room. His quick sense of humor will be missed by all. He was unfailingly supportive of family and friends, and was an anonymous, generous contributor to numerous charitable organizations.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Hunter may be made to Saint Martin DePorres High School, 6111 Lausche Avenue, Cleveland, 44103, or the Urban Community School, 4909 Lorain Avenue, Cleveland, 44102.
A private internment ceremony will be held at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends and family are invited to a memorial gathering on Friday, October 8, from 1-3 at the Cleveland Yachting Club, 200 Yacht Club Drive, Rocky River, 44116.
