Ida M. Krysh's Obituary
Krysh, Ida M, 95 (nee Lesiacsek) sadly passed away on August 26, 2023. Ida was a loving wife to William for 58 wonderful years before his passing in 2012. Dear mother to William (Sandy), Dennis (Debbie), Joseph (Joanne), Kimberly Polacek and Karen Stevens (deceased) (Mark). Sister to Eleanor, Julia, Helen, Irene, Joe, and Lewis. Devoted and admired grandmother to 11 and great grandmother to 13. A special aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Born in Painesville OH and always proud of her Hungarian heritage, Ida graduated from Harvey High. Ida had an unwavering commitment to family and friends, and was a role model who was always kind, quick to smile and extend a helping hand. Ida enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and enjoyed cooking, boating, traveling and good times in both Catawba and Florida. She took great pride in the accomplishments of her children and grandchildren and left them with many great character traits to emulate. As a mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, she always provided a listening ear, wisdom, guidance, love, and support.
Until her final days and despite her advanced age, she had clarity of mind and was able to share so many memories and experiences. We will all greatly miss the company, love, and spirit of this truly special lady. We take comfort in knowing she is now with God, loved and reunited with her husband Bill and daughter Karen, whom she so cherished along with her parents, siblings, and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests making contributions in memory of Ida to either the Hungarian Reform Church 601 Plum Street, Fairport Harbor, OH 44077 or the Ames Family Hospice of the Western Reserve, 30080 Hospice Way Westlake, OH 44145.
The family will receive friends from 10:00AM to 11:30AM in the Chapel on Friday September 1st at Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, OH followed by the memorial service at 11:30 a.m. A celebration of life reception will follow the service.
