Ioan Petrascu's Obituary
Ioan Petrascu, 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 4, 2024. Ioan was born in Vistea De Sus, Romania on February 6, 1932, son of the late Paraschiva Petrascu.
Ioan married to the late Silvia Petrascu on July 2, 1956. They had three children: Olimpia (George, deceased), Octavia (Doru) Todoran, and Vasile (Laura) Petrascu. Grandchildren: Simona Sarsama (Ian) McGrath, William Sarsama, Alin (Delia) Petrascu, and Liviu Petrascu. Great-Grandchildren: Tudor, Zian, Wayne, and Cassidy.
Ioan enjoyed spending time with his family. He also loved the outdoors and going for walks in the park. He will be missed dearly. May his memory be eternal.
Visitation: Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 6:00 – 7:00 PM; Pastoral Prayer Service from 7:00 – 8:00 PM, and Funeral Service: Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at 10 AM at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070.
