Jack Alex Rhodes' Obituary
Jack Alex Rhodes, 91, of North Olmsted, Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2024. Born on March 28, 1933, in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, to Alex and Alice (née Sinclair) Rhodes, Jack lived a full and vibrant life.
Jack is survived by his beloved wife of over 69 years, Margaret “Peg” (née McCarel). He was a devoted father to his children, Mark (Laura) Rhodes, Jackie Rhodes, and Larry (Lynda) Rhodes. He was also a cherished grandfather to Nikki, Bridget, Andy, Maxx, Bailey, JD, Spencer, and Ryan, and a proud great-grandfather to Lane, Evalynn, and Otto. Jack is also survived by his sisters, Lynn (David) Jereb and Sandra (Adrian) John.
Preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Jane Clark, Joan Wood, and Roger Rhodes, Jack’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Jack had a passion for camping, boating, a talent for music, and a love for throwing horseshoes. He was also an avid car enthusiast. A proud Army veteran, Jack’s signature “YP” will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Jack’s life was a testament to love, dedication, and joy. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A visitation will be held on Thursday September 19, 2024, from 4pm to 8pm at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted Ohio 44070. People are encouraged to wear their favorite Hawiian shirt or printed shirt to the visitation in memory of Jack.
A memorial service will be held on Friday September 20, 2024 at 10am at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted Ohio 44070.
