Jack G. Walters' Obituary
Jack Gary Walters, age 71, passed away on June 26, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Irma Walters (nee Schroeder) Walters; and his brothers Richard, William, and James.
Beloved husband of 50 years to Rosalee (nee Jesse) Walters; cherished father to Michael (Susan), Timothy and Beth Ann (Stephen) Barrett; grandfather to Matthew, Marissa, Taylor, and Collin; brother to Ronald: uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Jack met his wife, Rosie, at Rhodes High School; they were married on September 22, 1962. Together they raised their three children in Strongsville, Ohio.
Jack enjoyed the outdoors, old cars, going to the lake with Rosie, spending time with his nieces and nephews, his children, and his grandchildren. He had an extensive collection of tools and had a talent for “fixing” just about anything. He owned and operated Jack Walters Auto Body, in Berea, for 32 years. Not only was Jack a skilled tradesman and hard working man; he was also an extraordinary individual. Jack’s loved ones recognize him as very personable and he made friends everywhere he went. He was rather adored. He was an animal lover and cherished his four legged friends; Sadie, Jasper, Sofie, Tooie, and Baby. Jack was very dear to his family and friends and will truly be missed.
