Jaclyn "Jacquie" Briesath's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jaclyn (Jacquie) Ruth Briesath, who left this world peacefully on January 5, 2025, at the age of 64 in Dorset, Ohio.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert (Bo) Briesath; her sons, Patrick (Pat) Charles Fornwalt and Joseph (Joe) Robert Fornwalt (Julia); her grandson, Wesley Fornwalt; her siblings Kathie Jo Devine, Sally M. Carter, Roger (Joe) J. Heibel Jr., and Richard J. Heibel; and her stepchildren Emily Klenotic (Thomas) and Ethan Briesath (Jeanette Stringer). She was preceded in death by her father, Roger Joseph Heibel Sr., her mother, Patricia Ann Heibel, and her sister, Deborah Ann McMichael.
Born on June 14, 1960, in Cleveland, Ohio, Jacquie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She spent 20 wonderful years married to her devoted husband, Robert (Bo) Briesath building a life, and their dream house, together filled with love and laughter.
Jacquie’s true “superpower” was her caring nature. She dedicated her life to caring for others, which was reflected in the immense pride she had in being a nurse, one of her biggest accomplishments, second only to putting up with Bo for 20 years. Her compassion knew no bounds, and she always found joy in helping others. In line with her caretaker superpower, Jacquie excelled at cooking, ensuring there was always an overflowing table of homemade specialties—cheesecake, mac and cheese, cassata cake, chocolate covered pretzels, and enchiladas, to name a few. Jacquie’s presence was a source of strength, love, and joy to all who knew her.
Jacquie embraced her role as a mother with unwavering love and dedication to Pat and Joe and welcomed Emily and Ethan as her own after her marriage to their father, Bo. She was overjoyed with the arrival of Joe and Julia’s son, Wesley. She spoiled her grandson, to his delight, and the love his Gram had for him will always be with him.
Jacquie’s kindness, love, and memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
A celebration of Jacquie’s life will be held on January 15, 2025 at Sunset Memorial Park Chapel. 6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, OH 44070. Visiting hours will be from 4pm - 6pm with a memorial service immediately following from 6pm – 7pm. Please direct flowers to the funeral home.
