Jakob Rach, passed away July 11, 2013. Beloved husband of Elly L. (nee Heusel ); dear father of Michael Rach (Melissa)and Kristin â?? Tinaâ? Grenke; dear grandfather of Wolfgang Rach, Alexa Grenke and Adam Grenke. Brother-in-law of Luise Staiger (late Eugen); uncle of Helmut Staiger and Melanie Goebel (Ulli); great uncle of Sara and Florian. Friends may call in Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park 6245 Columbia Rd. North Olmsted, Sunday July 14, 2013 from 6-8 P.M. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel.
Mr. Rach studied architecture in Vienna, Austria and later was an assistant professor of descriptive geometry. He was a architect and engineer and took over the firm of George S. Rider in 1987 where he was the owner and operator. He was an avid coin and stamp collector and also a world traveler with his wife.
