Jacquelyn Anne Crosier's Obituary
Jacquelyn Anne Crosier, 83, of Westlake, Ohio passed away peacefully on April 2, 2023. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 25, 1939, to the late John and Rachel Stone (nee Schramm). Married to the late Elmer L Crosier for 60 wonderful years. Jacquelyn will be deeply missed by her only daughter, Lee Anne Wise (Ronald); loving grandmother of Zachary J. Wise; dear sister-in-law of William Crosier (Betty); cherished aunt of Cindy, William Jr, the late Pamela and the late Robert; and a host of extended family and many dear friends. She was a truly amazing person, caring and kind woman and a friend to many. Always had a kind word & smile for all she met, was very outgoing and loved meeting new people, enjoyed gardening, traveling, shelling and so much more.
She was a terrific gardener & loved all kinds of plants & flowers. Her love of flowers showed in many ways and led her to join the Westlake Garden Club & Herb Guild where she has been a member for many, many years. She enjoyed flower arranging with the clubs, doing truly amazing arrangements, loved their field trips & many special occasions. Her love of flowers continued when she approached the City of Westlake, to start the project of the many beautiful flower boxes that line Hilliard Boulevard today, so all could enjoy flowers as much as she did. This is where she earned the nickname "The Flower Lady". Her flower box will continue to be maintained by her daughter and family.
In her early career days, she worked for the phone company, Ohio Bell as it was known in those days, leaving only to start her own family. Years later she would become an avid Realtor, achieving the status of the half-million dollar club, which at that time was a great accomplishment!
In her later years she enjoyed spending time with her husband, Elmer, spending winters in Florida and summers up north in Ohio. They both loved spending time in Florida and had a beautiful home in Fort Myers and a condo on the water on Sanibel Island. She had recently sold their properties so she could come home to live permanently in Ohio to be with her family and friends.
She will be truly missed by many dear friends and loving family.
