Jacquelyn Lee Sopko's Obituary
Jacquelyn Lee Sopko, 70, of Elyria, Ohio passed away on August 10, 2021 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was born on January 8, 1951 to the late Stanley and Dorothy (nee Kopp) Handschuh. Jackie retired from the Cuyahoga County Court systems. She will be fondly remembered for her love of casino trips, playing Bingo, and going on cruises with her family. Jackie will be dearly missed by her loving daughter Laura (George) Mihaiu; cherished grandchildren Nicholas, Megan, and Ryan Mihaiu; dear brother Larry (LaVonne) Handschuh; and sister-in-law Gail Handschuh; and many nieces and nephews. She was reunited in heaven with her husband Andrew J. Sopko, Jr., son Andrew Sopko, III, sister Carolyn McCormick, and brother Kenny Handschuh. Friends and family may call on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 10-12 Noon with a service at 12 noon at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070.
