Jimmy,
We met when we were in 2nd grade playing hockey together. For the next 10 years we were teammates and friends. You were one of the better players to come out of N.O. and found success playing collegiately with Todd Smith @ OU and then afterwards in California. You were blessed with great speed, could shoot the puck like a marksman, and often carried our team. Always quick with a laugh or pulling a gag on someone.

I’m grateful that we were able to visit when I was in town a few years ago. I admired your courage, spirit, and tenacity as you worked to maintain your strength since your accident.

May God bless you and the entire Capone family. Rest in Peace.

I have 7 years of daily conversation with Jim. I will miss him dearly along with his family and Brody. I am honored to have been a big part of his care these last 7 years. I am so grateful for our friendship, and that we did get to reconnect by phone a few years ago.
I still smile when I think of you and the “BOYS FROM NO” coming to my wedding in Little Rock. The city still hasn’t recovered.
