James Roger Engelbert's Obituary
James R. Engelbert, 86, servant of the Lord Jesus Christ, went home to be with Him, Friday, February 4, 2022. “Come unto Me all you who are burdened and heavy laden and I will give you rest” Matthew 11:28. Jim was born in Buffalo, New York to the late Myrtle and H. Arthur Engelbert on November 25, 1935. Jim had an older sister, Jule (Walter, both deceased). Jim graduated from Valparaiso University in 1957 with a Civil Engineering degree. He was employed as a Civil Engineer in Jackson, Michigan. Jim then was the CEO of the family business, National Bias Fabric Co. in Cleveland for 56 yrs. Jim leaves behind his devoted wife of 63 years, Carol and his loving children, Sharon and Keith; 14 grandchildren, Joshua (Kaily), Sara (Joshua), Timothy (Yessy, fiancé), Benjamin (Hailee), Stephen (Erin), Isaac, Hannah, Lydia, John (Rebecca), Sharon, Tabitha, Philip, Grace, and Jeffrey, in addition to 16 precious great-grandchildren, Rachel, Emma, Annie, Lilly, Caroline, Joshua, Zoe, Ellie, Jon, Jameson, August, Walter, Lawrence, Oliver, Theo, and Rylee; his dear nephew, John, and niece, Janet.
