James J. Gorman's Obituary
James J. Gorman, age 69, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2025. Born on October 6, 1955, to the late James A. and Frances Mae Gorman, James lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to his family and friends.
Jim was proud of his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering and loved to mentor other engineers, sharing his knowledge and passion for the field. His guidance and support helped shape the careers of many aspiring engineers.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, visiting the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, walking through the Metroparks, and spending time on cruises. Jim also loved going to dinner and the movies. He had a great sense of humor that brought joy to everyone around him.
Jim is survived by his beloved siblings: Frances (Thomas) Homa, John (Louise) Gorman, Susan (Gary) Toich, and Michael (Barbara) Gorman. Jim was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Jim’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. May he rest in peace.
