James Ambrose Ilko's Obituary
James (Jim) Ambrose Ilko, 90, was born in Manhattan, NY on March 2, 1933. He was an educator in the Parma School District. He was preceded in death by his loving wife: Mary Ann Ilko. Jim leaves to cherish his memory, his children: Mark (Crystal) Ilko, Jamie (Brad) Anderson, Stacey (Robert) Hancock, and Jon (Holli) Ilko. He is the loving grandfather of Jessica (Jim) Sliwinski, Rebecca (Brad) Danforth, Alexandra (Steven) Yoak, Corey (Adam) Morris, Cole Anderson, Riley Anderson, Delaney Hancock, Mason Hancock, Ethan Ilko, and Aishlin Ilko. Jim is also the beloved great-grandfather of 6 great-grandchildren. He is survived by Randy Palfi, Loretta Chamberlin, and his dog: Jackson. Jim absolutely loved "Party at Papa's," a weekly gathering with his adoring family. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 16, 2024, from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. at Sunset Funeral & Cremation Services, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070. Visitation will continue, Wednesday, January 17, 2024, from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. with a funeral service following at 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, family and friends are invited to donate to The Alzheimer's Association, act.alz.org.
