James W. Munro's Obituary
James W. Munro, 81, passed away August 14, 2020.
Former spouse of Marleen Munro; devoted father of Kim Munro and Heather (Lawrence) Bailer; cherished grandfather of Joy Bailer, Julie (Andrew) Clinton, Jesse Bailer, Brynna (Sebastian) Mango, Britton Bailer and Karlie Bailer; dear brother of Jean (the late Jerry) Starr and Donald (Sally) Munro; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
James was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and the American Legion Post #211. He was very proud of his career as Executive Vice President of KeyCorp and President of Society Life Insurance Co. James was also an avid golfer. Everyone loved James, and he will always be remembered as kind, generous and classy. He took care of everyone around him.
Private committal services will take place at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Legion Post #211, 31972 Walker Rd., Avon Lake, OH 44012, or to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 E. 185th St., Cleveland, OH 44119.
