Can remember driving to see Jim and Darla when we were young , all 7 of us .Dad and Jim were great childhood friends and stayed in touch with each other, visiting almost every year at my parents in Tampa, took Jim and dad fishing many times, our condolences ,Tammy and Brian Hecker
We enjoyed attending band & music events where we most often got to see Jim & Darla. He was always quick to welcome us & rose above advancing symptoms in order to be humorous & kind. Jim’s entire family carried him for many years of symptoms & chronic illness. Most of all, Darla demonstrated the meaning of being a true life partner. We admire how Jim was loved, through it all…he was truly, deeply loved!
Rest In Peace takes on new meaning for a man who suffered from a motion disorder & tired brain.
