James A. Rieke's Obituary
James A. Rieke Jr., 54, of North Ridgeville, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 following a two-year courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
He was born in Cleveland, the beloved son of Virginia (Richard, deceased) Kennedy. James is the loving father of Anthony; cherished grandfather of Trevin Cosnter; dear brother of Beverly Rieke (Sam Gonzalez), Pamela (Michael) Rivera and Sharon Mills; adored nephew and uncle of many. Jim was employed with Park-N-Fly for the past 20 years following the closure of the Cleveland Salt Mine. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and enjoyed playing football with his friends in his childhood years. James had a love of Harley’s enjoying every ride he took. In more peaceful times he and his mother relaxed together bird watching. He was loved by many and will be missed by all.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 4PM-8PM at the Sunset Chapel in Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, where funeral services will commence on Friday at 10AM. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
