James Smith's Obituary
James A. Smith, 83, was born on June 8, 1938 in Newport, Tennessee to the late Mack and Daisy Smith.
James graduated from West High School. Then, after over 40 years of employment, he retired from Tuthill Corporation. In his spare time, James was a gardening and tropical fish enthusiast.
James passed away on February 21, 2022 and was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Shelby Smith, Mae Cody, and Mary Wise; and his son, Richard Smith.
James is survived by his best friend of over 60 years, the mother of his boys, and caregiver: Evelyn Chambers; his son, Brian (Marie) Smith; grandchildren, Anna and Valerie; great-grandchildren, Edison and Ellie Mae; and his dear friends, Andrew Chambers and Bryan Bungo.
