Janis Heinrich (nee Yard), 98, of North Olmsted, Ohio, passed away on May 27, 2025, leaving behind a lifetime of memories, wisdom, and love. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late John and Amanda Yard, Janis lived a life rich in experience, resilience, and grace. She was the beloved wife of the late John Heinrich.
Janis had a deep appreciation for history and craftsmanship, which fueled her love for antiques. She enjoyed attending antique shows, where she could immerse herself in the stories behind treasured pieces and connect with others who shared her passion.
She dedicated many years of her professional life to American Ship Building as a secretary, where her hard work and commitment left a lasting impact. Her contributions reflected her diligence and expertise, earning her respect among colleagues.
A graveside service will be held to honor her life at the Westwood Abbey Mausoleum in Sunset Memorial Park, 6265 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, Ohio, 44070 on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM.
