Jean Black's Obituary
Jean F. Black, 84, of Saxonburg, PA, formerly of North Olmsted, OH, peacefully passed away on September 7, 2023.
Beloved wife of the late Jack Black, loving sister to June (Chuck) Irolla, supportive mother of John, Jeffrey (Melinda), and Joseph (Jackie) Black and dear grandmother of Rachel, John, Jeremy, Jessica, Jackson (Jen), Macy and Owen.
Jean was born December 4, 1938 in Fairview Park, Ohio, to the late George and Lucille (Nee O'Brien) Seedhouse.
Jean was a graduate of Fairview Park High School and Kent State University where she earned a degree in teaching and met her lifelong love, Jack. Jean and Jack relocated numerous times after they were first married, but settled in North Olmsted, OH where they raised their three sons. Once retired, Jean and her husband Jack spent their winters in Siesta Key, FL and summers in Saxonburg, PA spending time with family and friends in both locations. She was a member of St Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot, PA and Faith Lutheran Church in Sarasota, FL.
Following Jean’s wishes, the family does not plan to have a public memorial service.
