Jean D Curella's Obituary
Jean D. Curella, age 91, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025. She was born on April 20, 1934, to William Brucato, who passed away before her birth, and Josephine Brucato. She was lovingly raised by her mother Josephine and stepfather, Tony Migliorini.
She worked for many years as a cashier at Rego’s, balancing her job with the care and dedication of a true homemaker. Known for keeping an immaculate home, Jean would come home after work and still prepare a delicious dinner; her Sunday spaghetti feasts, complete with all the fixings, became a cherished family favorite.
Jean was married for 55 years to her beloved husband, Salvatore F. Curella. He was her true love, and she remained devoted to him until his passing. Together, they built a life full of love and laughter.
She is survived by her daughters, Josephine Cardillo and Victoria (Tom) Vasek; grandchildren Mike (Jessica) Lampshire, Gina (Scott Radway) Cardillo, Jeff (Jaime) Lampshire, and Dan Cardillo; and great-grandchildren Vinny Lampshire, London Lampshire, Juliet Lampshire, and Luca Radway. She was preceded in death by her husband, Salvatore, and her sisters, Bessie Priebe and Christina Pacino.
Jean found joy in playing games and solving puzzles, especially bingo, and Phase10, which she loved sharing with family and friends. In her younger years, she loved traveling to Miami and Las Vegas.
A service will be held on October 17 at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Legacy Funeral Home, 6265 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070.
