Jean Fitzmaurice's Obituary
Jean Fitzmaurice, 75, of Strongsville, Ohio passed away peacefully on September 23, 2022. She was born in Ambridge, Pennsylvania on July 8, 1947 to the late Sam and Mildred Firich (nee Bowan). Jean was an educator & taught for 35 years at the Bay Village School District. Jean will be deeply missed by her husband of 26 years, David Fitzmaurice; loving stepmother of Renee Fitzmaurice, Michelle Martinich, and Mandee (Mark) Kalinowski; cherished grandmother of Blake, Johnny, Olivia, and David; beloved sister of Carol (Bruce) Randall and Barbara (Al) Fitzgerald; and a host of extended family members and dear friends. Visitation and funeral ceremony will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, 11am -noon at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 followed by a funeral service at 12 p.m. Interment will follow ceremony at Sunset Memorial Park. Jean requests that a donation be made to your favorite charity in her honor in lieu of flowers.
