Jean Barnum Magee's Obituary
Jean Magee (nee Barnum), age 91, of Cleveland, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 10, 2020.
She was born December 9, 1928 in Cleveland, daughter of the late Frank and Irene (nee Kuhn) Barnum. She enjoyed sewing and bird watching. She loved spending her time outdoors and gardening. Most importantly, Jean loved spending time with her family and will be greatly missed.
Devoted wife of 62 years to the late James Magee; cherished mother of Nancy (Jeff Caputo) Magee, the late Thomas William Magee, and Robert (Kathryn) Magee; beloved grandmother of Dominic Caputo, Samantha (Ryan Delor) Engelhardt, Chelsey Caputo, William (Kate) Magee, Daniel (Hansa) Magee, Adam Caputo, Nicholas (Sasha) Engelhardt, Caitlyn Engelhardt, Benjamin Engelhardt, and Andrew (Karyn) Magee; loving great grandmother of Patrick Magee; dearest sister of the Carole (Larry) Francis, the late Ruth (the late Richard), the late Lois (Robert) Creter, and the late Thomas (Joan) Barnum.
Graveside service will take place on Monday, March 16, 2020 at 2PM at Sunset Memorial Park. Please meet at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, OH 44070 at 1:45PM for procession to graveside.
A memorial mass will take place at St. Thomas More Parish. Dates and times to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in James’ name are suggested to Cleveland Alzheimer’s Association, 23215 Commerce Park #300, Beachwood, OH 44122.
