Jean M. Rominski's Obituary
Jean M. Rominski, age 93, of Parma, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2024. Born on September 28, 1931, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the beloved daughter of the late Viola and Leonard Zipp Sr.
She was the devoted wife of over 50 years to the late Eugene Rominski, who passed away in 2016. She was also preceded in death by her cherished son, Kenneth Rominski, in 2020, and her dear sister, LaVern (Charles) Uhl. She is survived by her loving brother, Leonard (Elizabeth) Zipp Jr., and will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Jean was an extraordinary caregiver for her son Kenneth until his passing. Her dedication and compassion were evident in her instrumental role in founding the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities, where she made a lasting impact on the community.
She was a passionate fan of the Cleveland Guardians and Cleveland Cavaliers. She was an open-minded, adventurous spirit with a great sense of humor, making her a joy to be around.
Jean's legacy of kindness, dedication, and fun-loving nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Jean will be laid to rest privately with her family at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted, Ohio.
