Jeanette "Net" Nelsen (nee Heim)'s Obituary
Jeanette “Net” Evelyn Nelsen (nee Heim), age 94, of North Olmsted, passed away January 12th, 2020. She is together again with her late husband of 66 yrs, Clarence “Bill” W.; loving mother of Rick (Deborah Caruso Nelsen, div.) and the late Jeff (Deborah); cherished grandmother of Rick Jr. (Kai), Cara (Derrick) Martin, Brittney (Chris) Molchan, Lauren Nelsen, Joshua, Dan, John, Sam, Caleb, Hannah (Michael) Smetana, Leah, Debbie, David and great grandmother to 9; devoted daughter of the late Edwin Joseph and Agnes Belle (nee Seidel) Heim; She is predeceased by her siblings, Robert, Eleanor Moldovan , Richard and Donald; loving aunt and friend to many.
Jeannette "Net" grew up on Marlowe Ave in Lakewood. Her parents had a cottage by the Lake where she and her family made many dear memories. Net and Butts had their wedding reception at the cottage and then left for their honeymoon in Fort Meyers, Florida. She loved nature, birds, camping and traveling. Net and Butts travelled all over the states in their motor home for many years, enjoying their time together and visiting friends and family. They traveled to every state, except Hawaii. Jeanette also loved to crochet. She crocheted anything from bag holders to beautiful blankets. And she’d give them all away and start over again! Jeanette was devoted to her family above all. She was a great friend to so many and will be missed by all.
VISITATION Sunday, January 19, 2020, 1 PM until time of her Service at 3 PM in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd. North Olmsted. In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be made in Jeanette’s name to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave, Cleveland, Ohio 44110 or Alzheimer's Association, 37309 Harvest Dr, Avon, OH 44011.
