Jeffrey Joseph Stewart's Obituary
Jeffrey Joseph Stewart, age 74, passed away on May 2, 2026. Born on March 26, 1952, he was the beloved son of the late Helen and Joseph A. Stewart, Sr.
He is survived by his brother, Joseph (Carol J. Wagner) Stewart, and preceded in death by his sister, Patricia (Robert) Carolin. Jeffrey was a cherished uncle to Michelle (Randy Daughtertey) Frabott, Charles (Michelle) Johnson, Michael Johnson, and Carla Johnson, and a proud great uncle to many.
A 1970 graduate of Cathedral Latin, Jeffrey remained a loyal supporter of the school and its legacy. His deep faith and commitment to community were evident through his longtime involvement with St. Casimir, where he found purpose, friendship, and spiritual grounding.
Jeffrey spent many years working for Gould/Westinghouse/Northrop Grumman, ocean systems division and later PPG, where he was known for his reliability, quiet dedication, and steady presence. Outside of work, he was a lifelong Cleveland Browns fan—ever hopeful, ever loyal.
He had a special love for Las Vegas, where he lived for a time and developed an impressive knowledge of the city’s history, hidden corners, and local character. Friends and family often marveled at how much he knew about the place he enjoyed so deeply.
Those who knew Jeff will remember him as a kind, gentle, and soft spoken soul, someone who never sought the spotlight but whose warmth and goodness left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were touched by his quiet grace.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
