I had known Jerry for a number of years through shared community groups. His celebration of life at West Shore UU Church this past Sunday showed what remarkable person he was and what a wonderful life he led. My deepest condolences to David - Jerry will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

I am unable to attend Jerry's funeral service but extend my sincere condolences to Jerry's family on their great loss. It was my privilege to work with Jerry at Rhodes High School where he was a loyal, caring and effective teacher who displayed the greatest compassion toward students and was a valuable member of the instructional team. He remains vivid in my memory as a most pleasant, kind and positive person. May you rest in peace Jerry.
