Jessie Isabella Jackson (née May), age 85, of Brook Park, Ohio, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family July 7, 2026.
Jessie was the beloved wife of Walter Jackson for 61 years; devoted mother of Lisa Jackson, Maureen Sartain (Doug), and Scott Jackson (Christine); cherished grandmother of Bridget, Aidan, Jackson, Isabella, Dougie, and Allison; and proud great-grandmother of Violet, Grady, and Josie.
Born in Fraserburgh, Scotland, Jessie immigrated to the United States in 1961 at the age of 19. She met the love of her life, Walter, in Connecticut while he was serving in the United States Army. Following their marriage, they made their home in Cleveland, Ohio, where they built a loving family together.
Jessie dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker and was well known for her award-winning apple pies, which became a favorite tradition for family and friends alike. She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, Scottish spirit, and the love she shared with all who knew her.
Private family services will be held.
