Being a distance brother in law (I lived in Texas) seeing Jim on my visits was always a treat. He would fill me in on all the Ohio teams and their mess up’s. He was always enthusiastic and full of energy. And I appreciate Jim for his friendship and sharing his life with my sister, Marcella. He will be missed.

I am very sorry to learn of Jim’s passing. I had the privilege of being a teammate of Jim’s on the Coventry HS baseball team in the late 60’s. He was batting around .650 one year when he broke his collar bone giving 150% on the field. He had the talent and dedication to go with that level of effort. I am sure that carried over into other aspects of his life and that he will be sorely missed by his friends and family.
