I want you to know I always loved you! Some of my best memories had you by my side. We had many shopping trips, awesome vacations and many laughs together. You was my other mom❤️.. You was a caring, loving, forgiving soul, and this world was a better place because you was in it! Thank you for being an amazing mother in law, and a loving grandma to the kids. You made them BRATS, but thats what grandmas do. It was an honor to know you, and a privilege to call you my family!! 🤘 Love you always, miss you forever!
It is sad for me and especially for the Caraballo family, yet I have some of my best memories because of Joan. My sincerest condolences to all of the family. Growing up Joan was like a mother to me. Countless dinners and sleepovers with her family and her making me feel like I was one of her own children with her big beautiful smile and her bright lipstick always having something sweet to say and a big hug for me. I'll always remember her smacking my thighs and saying she had ham hocks to cook if they ran out of food and me asking why she mixed the corn in the salad and her saying that's because that's how Yiyo (her husband) liked it. I spent almost every single day of my childhood with her daughters and if her daughters weren't around for some reason I would often just sit with her and we would talk. She was a deaf mute but she taught me how to sign and I learned quite a bit and that certainly didn't stop us from communicating. Thank you so much Joan for so many of my wonderful childhood memories with you and your family. Please tell my son and Terry and my dad I miss them and love them. I love you Joan/Mom. ❤️ Your neighbor, friend, bonus daughter - Cindy
Love and miss you grandma xoxo
