Joan Carol Fontana, 89, of Strongsville, Ohio, passed on June 13, 2022. Joan was born on December 4, 1932 in Cleveland, Ohio to Earl and Alice Doering. Joan was preceded in death by her husband of 12 years, Victor, and her sister Jean Fisher. Joan is survived by her children Robin (Greg) Meczka, Pam Hill, Scott (Wanda) Hill, Tracey (Dan) Mazany and Sandy (Brent) Broderick. Grandma Joan to Jodie (Scott) Anderson, Amie (Dave) LaBahn, Kellie (Randy) Niles, Allie (John) Yasak, Eva (Kelsey) Taylor, Amber (Matt) Snyder, April (John) Hill, Jason (Nicole) Trusnik, Lenny Trusnik, Danny (Ashley) Trusnik, Sean Mazany, Gwen Broderick and Hunter Broderick. GiGi to Zachary, Quinn, Rylie, Nicholas, Jacob, Kaitlyn, Sofia Joan, Lincoln, Sloan, Rory Joan, James, Vaughn, Mia, Layla, James, Ainsley, Austin, Ava, Tatum, Caroline, and Aniston. Joan enjoyed reading, dancing in red shoes, parties, laughter, hosting and being the Mom to everyone in the neighborhood.
