Joan E. Kish's Obituary
Joan E. (Schultz) Kish, 84, of Olmsted Township, passed away on October 23, 2017.
Beloved mother of William “Wes” Kish, Robert E. Kish, and Sandra L. (George) Novicky; loving grandmother of Angela (Kevin) Reed, Jonathan Ross, Jennifer Kish, Matthew (Alyson) Ross, George (Erin) Novicky, and Marion (Sean) Sullivan; cherished great grandmother Kaylee, Andrew, Virginia, Kalianna, Joseph, Zachary, Avery, Weslee, Ryan, and Padraig.
She was preceded in death by her husband William, her parents Weslee and Julia (Matwa) Schultz.
Joan loved being a Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She will be remembered as an accomplished florist, cake decorator, and that she loved making crafts. Joan enjoyed family gatherings, going on day trips, and eating out with her family and circle of friends. She especially liked baking cookies for Christmas. Joan was a member of the Church of the Redeemer in Westlake and was the chief decorator there for many years.
The family would like to thank the nurses at Fairview Hospital and the Ames family Hospice House for all the wonderful care she received from them.
Visitation will be held in the Chapel at Sunset on Thursday, October 26, 2017, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, where funeral services will commence on Friday at 12 noon with Rev. Jim Cunningham officiating. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
