Joan Ruth Palmer's Obituary
Joan R. Palmer, 82, of Broadview Heights, Ohio, passed away on January 12, 2023. She was born on October 31, 1940, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Frank E. and Gertrude M. (nee Chambers) Andrews. Joan will be missed by her loving husband, Allen F. Palmer, and their children Richard “Rick” Palmer (deceased), Susan (Robert) Herold and Caryn (Mike) Cody. She was the loving grandmother of Justin (Joyce) Palmer, Ben Palmer, Bobby (Georgia) Herold, Sammy (Varun) Pande, Danny (Rachel Simonetti) Cody and Kayla Cody and great grandmother to Minka, Mia, Avi, Niam and Laney. Sister to Robert (Jo) Andrews and Beverly (Steve, deceased) Whitmarsh. Joan enjoyed golfing, traveling and scrapbooking and spending time with family. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations in Joan’s name to Hospice of the Western Reserve, Medina at 5075 Windfall Rd., Medina, Ohio, 44256, or www.hospicewr.org Medina. Visitation will take place on Monday, January 16, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a memorial service at 6:30 PM. Entombment will be held privately.
