John Robert Andrus' Obituary
John "Jack" Andrus passed away on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024. Preceded in death by his mother, Anna, and father, John P. Andrus.
John R. Andrus, devoted husband of Carole H. (nee Mihaly) for 58 years. Beloved father of John D. (Sharon), Robert J. (Terri), Gary J. (Hollie). Loving grandfather to Mitchell, Luke and Emma.
John served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps. Following his service in the Marine Corps, he obtained his Journeyman Electrician card in 1970. Proud member of IBEW Local 38 for 57 years. American Legion member of the Theodore Roosevelt Post 469.
Aside from the love for his wife, three sons and grandchildren, he was a "Jack" of all trades - there was almost nothing he couldn't fix, he loved the game of baseball, gardening, reading and a good cigar in his beautiful backyard. Above all he was always available for his family and friends.
