John S. Christou's Obituary
John S. Christou, 73, of North Olmsted, Ohio passed away at home with family by his side on April 1, 2024. He was born in Platanos Samos, Greece on September 2, 1950 to the late Stavros and Yannoula (Mouroulis) Christou. John opened his first Barber Shop in Kamm’s Corner in 1972. The salon was one of the first in the area to cater to the whole family. John found joy in simple pleasures, particularly tending to his vegetable gardens and flower beds in Ohio and various gardens in Florida he started with his daughter. He had deep faith and devotion to his God. His life was a testament to unconditional love and selflessness. He will be deeply missed by his cherished wife Soula (Konstantopoulou) Christou of 54 years; devoted father to David (Erin) Christou, Melissa (Dan) Ladd, and Timothy (Alyssa) Christou; cherished grandfather to Samantha, Gregory, Noah, Payton, Graham, and Holden; great-grandfather to Evangeline; dear brother to Theodore (Angie) Christou, Mary Gastis, Stavroula (Demetrius) Fotiou, Rena (Tielemahos) Vogdou. A memorial talk will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2024, 4:00 PM, at Double Tree Westlake, 1100 Crocker Road Westlake, Ohio 44145. John will be privately laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted, Ohio.
