John Evin's Obituary
John Evin, 95, passed away October 3, 2020.
Beloved husband of 73 years to Eleanor, who preceded him in death just eight weeks ago; cherished father of Jeff (Joyce) Evin, Gerald (Mary Groth) Evin and Laura (Craig) Pearse; adored grandfather of Scott, Dana, Nicole, Kara, Patrick (Tara) and Katie; dear uncle to many nieces and nephews.
U.S. Army Veteran who served with courage and honor in WWII, John lived an exemplary life filled with faith, love, happiness, hard work, humility and generosity. He and Eleanor were incredibly devoted to each other, their children and grandchildren. They were friends to many and true role models of The Greatest Generation.
Committal services will take place at 12 noon, Tuesday, October 13, 2020, at Sunset Memorial Park. Meet at Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd., North Olmsted, at 11:45 a.m., where procession to cemetery will form. Masks and social distancing are required.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
