John R. Fleischer's Obituary
John R. Fleischer, age 90 of Westlake, passed away March 4, 2020. Beloved husband of Hilda (nee Linzing); loving father of John P. (Donna) and Jerry (Debbie); cherished grandfather of David, Stephen, Timothy (Megan) and Casey (Robert) Karohl; great grandfather of Amelia and Zoey; dear brother of the late Elsie (the late Irv) Koncal and Karen (Bill) Henning; adored uncle of Christine, Jeff, Bonnie and Todd.
John served as Police Chief for the Westlake Police Department for 25 years until his retirement in 1986.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 11 AM – 2 PM in the Chapel at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Rd. North Olmsted; where the Funeral Service will begin at 2 PM. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
