We grew up going to church with the Gottschicks at St Thomas Evangelical Church on Lake Avenue, comprisedmostly of a close knit German congregation. Mr Gottschick was always so kind and friendly. He was a very approachable person. I always felt he was interested in whatever i had to say. I have many fond memories of those years. He was a special guy for sure.
