John Ernest Hoffa, a cherished member of the Cleveland community, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2024. Born to John J. and Celia Hoffa on August 17, 1935, John’s life was marked by his unwavering dedication to his family and his enduring kindness that touched all who knew him.
John’s legacy is carried on through his loving children, Beth Hoffa, John (Christine) Hoffa, Robert (Laurie) Hoffa, and Richard (Yvette) Hoffa. His spirit will forever be reflected in the lives of his adoring grandchildren, Nathaniel J., Matthew (Jessica), Jacob, Nicholas (Sean), Kristen (Bill), Jordan, Nathaniel E. (Steph), and Christopher, and his great-grandchildren, Dylan, Brynn, and Lucia, who brought him immense joy.
Predeceased by his beloved wife, Dorothy Hoffa, and his sister, Marian Miller, John’s memory will be honored as a symbol of familial love and the simple, profound joys of life.
A private memorial service will be held in his honor, where family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of a man who was truly the heart of his family. John’s kindness, wisdom, and gentle humor have left an unforgettable mark on all our hearts, and he will be deeply missed.
