John Jacob Klingbeil's Obituary
John Jacob Klingbeil (Jack) bravely fought an aggressive battle with cancer and went to be with the Lord in the early morning hours of April 29th, 2023 at the age of 77. Jack was a loving husband to his surviving wife Susan, a committed father to his daughter Jacqueline and stepson Michael, a big brother to his sister June, a grandpa to AJ, and a great grandpa to Daniella. Jack was born and raised in Cleveland Ohio where he spent his younger years running his families famous Cleveland restaurant 'Kiefers'. Jack was a proud graduate of Cleveland State University in finance, a retired Teamster, staunch Republican, avid scuba diver, amateur actor, and overall softy. Through a series of events, Jack spent his first date with Susan talking and sharing a pizza, while she recovered from an unrelated illness in the hospital. Soon after they were married, Jack became a father to Michael and Jacqueline, and their life together had officially begun. During his hardworking career for Beverage Distributors, Jack expertly planned for retirement, providing both him and Susan a low stress life of garage sales and summertime fairs.
A service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church (2265 Garden Drive, Avon, OH 44011) on Saturday May 06, 2023, at 12 PM with the visitation starting at 10 AM. Jack will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park (6265 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, OH 44070) on May 6th at 1:45 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Judes.
