This is for John Phillip Zehnder's family. My condolences to all of John's family. I had known John for quite a few years as band director at Messiah Lutheran School (25 yrs) and band director at St. Paul Lutheran School (5 years). John was always complimentary to these schools with donations to help us with our finances, etc. He was a very good man in all aspects. God Bless you, John, in your return to him and Jesus Christ in your home above. It was a great pleasure for me to know and appreciate him and his kindness. Tom Hill

The first time I came over to Cleveland in 2000 John came to pick me up from the hotel and I went to get in the passenger seat, he said, " Hey Dave, wrong side, your driving." I was mortified, I'd driven in the US once before and now I'd got to drive the Big Bosses car with him sat beside me. He could see I was nervous and he just said, " it's insured Dave and I've got another car so don't worry" and we had a little laugh. Typical John, he made me feel at ease and relaxed and thankfully I never bumped his car. I had and have the utmost respect for him and wouldn't be in the position I am now without John's foresight to open and persevere with Earnest Machine in the UK and Europe. I am truly sad that we have lost such a warm hearted, generous and genuinely lovely human being. RIP Mr Zehnder, much love from your friends across the pond.
