Joseph Nelson Hefner's Obituary
Joseph Nelson Hefner, age 81, of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 22, 2020.
He was born March 22, 1939, in Morgantown, WV, son of the late Cledith D. and Minerva B. (nee Arnold) Hefner. Joe loved to cook and was known as Joe “Chef.” He enjoyed boating and cookouts, and especially loved old cars. He had a beautiful collection of model cars, and Cadillacs were his favorite. Above all, he loved the Lord and was a strong man of faith. He will be greatly missed.
Devoted father of Beth Ann (Chuck) Hutchinson, Lezlie (Michael) Meihls, Marcia Kay (Brad) Stromack, and Christine Lee Hefner; cherished grandfather of Jody (Collin) Jotham, Henry Tyler (Gene) Brandenburg, Eric (Sheena) Brandenburg, Megan (Trevor) Hutchinson, Aaron (Ashley) Hutchinson, Evan Hutchinson, Michael (Kylene) Meihls, Karrie (Brent) Taylor, Casey (Nate) Clemente, Max Dewire, Natalie Stromack, Jamie Swegheimer, and Cooper Basiletti; treasured great grandfather of Logan, Zoe, Max, Dylan, Eli, Karlie, Dalton, Reeselyn, Jace, Jack, Mia, Lela, and Madison; beloved brother of Anna, Maysel, Adele, Milton, Jonathan, the late Carrollton, the late Franklin, the late David, the late MaryLou, and the late Cledith Jr; beloved uncle and friend of many.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
