Joseph Tira's Obituary
Joseph Richard Tira lll, 73, of Rocky River, Ohio passed away on July 8th after a courageous battle against Multiple Myeloma & MDS Cancers with his family by his side. He was born on October 5th, 1950 to the late Joseph Anthony Tira Jr and Elizabeth Anna Tira.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Diane White-Tira; son Devin White; sisters Barbara Tira and Brenda Haunty; nephew & niece Scott Casalicchio and Amy Casallichio; and his kitties, Olivia and Dusty.
Joseph attended Cathedral Latin High School, class of 1968 and graduated from Cleveland Marshall Law School in 1977. His career began
at Quandt, Giffels & Buck LPA and ended at Progressive Insurance.
He was a life-long Clevelander and grew up in the Buckeye Road Neighborhood. Joe was a big Cleveland sports fan, especially the Browns. He enjoyed playing golf, the Arts, traveling the world and volunteering in his retirement years. Joseph was very loved and will be greatly missed by his family & friends.
Joseph's family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Aides at Seidman Cancer Center and Crossroads Hospice for their dedication, comfort and loving care.
Visitation will be at held at Sunset Memorial Chapel, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 on Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 6:00 p.m. visitation will continue after the conclusion of the service until 8:00 p.m.
