Joyce Grahovac's Obituary
Joyce Grahovac (née Moir), born on March 23, 1926, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2024. She was the beloved daughter of the late Frederick and Catherine Moir.
Joyce’s life was marked by her remarkable journey as a war bride. She married her loving husband, Nicholas Grahovac, on February 10, 1945, in England. In February 1946, she bravely traveled to the United States aboard the Queen Mary to start a new life with Nicholas.
She is the beloved mother of Daniel (Jennifer) and Allen (Karyn); grandmother of Christen, Danny, Garrett, Kerry, Ryan, Jason (deceased); great-grandmother of 9; great-great-grandmother of 3; and sister of the late Doris Thomas and Elsie Edwards.
Joyce’s legacy is one of love, resilience, and adventure. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park, 6245 Columbia Road, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070 on September 18, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Please meet at the Sunset Memorial Chapel at 10:45 a.m. so we can proceed together.
