Judith Ann Evin's Obituary
Judith Ann Evin, 84, of Cleveland, Ohio passed away on July 11, 2022. She was born on December 12, 1937 in Cleveland to the late Gerrit and Hazel (nee Haeberle) Osterhouse. Judith’s spirit and life exemplified her Christian faith. Her selfless servant’s heart led her to an active life of volunteerism. She enjoyed helping in many capacities with organizations such as Meals on Wheels, Project Learn in Brunswick, tutoring with HOSTS, and was a staple in 4 different Friends of the Library groups in Cuyahoga and Medina Counties. Judith was a member of Christ Church Westshore and was recently appointed a trustee of the Fairview Park Historical Society. She will be fondly remembered for her love of Opera and classical music, and for being an avid reader and a lifelong learner. Most importantly, she was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by those who loved her best. She is survived by her beloved husband Victor Evin of 34 years; loving children Carl, Laurel, and Linda Baer; cherished grandchildren Carl and Brandon (Jackie) Baer; treasured great-grandchildren Brandon Jr. and Avacyn Baer; and brother Roger (Linda) Osterhouse. Judith is preceded in death by her first husband Carl G. Baer. She will be privately laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park in North Olmsted, Ohio.
